Whitney C. Miranda is an associate at Genders-Alvarez-Diecidue, P.A. She was born and raised in Tampa and is a graduate of H. B. Plant High School. Ms. Miranda originally joined the firm in 2000 as a legal assistant, while simultaneously attending Hillsborough Community College to obtain a degree in Paralegal Studies. Upon graduating from Hillsborough Community College, Ms. Miranda went on to attend the University of Tampa, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Government and World Affairs. Ms. Miranda remained with the law firm until such time as she decided to attend law school in 2006. She attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2008. Ms. Miranda rejoined the firm as an attorney in June of 2009 and has spent the last 15 years practicing in the areas of probate and estate planning.
Outside of the office, Ms. Miranda enjoys spending time with her husband, Jose, and their daughter, Arielle. Her interests include cooking, arts and crafts, camping, and Disney trips with her family. Ms. Miranda was an intern in the Sixty Plus Elder Law Clinic while attending law school and continues to focus on volunteering with projects that benefit low income seniors and veterans.
