What People Say About Us

Testimonials

Let Us Give You the Help You Need

I have been employed at GAD since 2001 and spend most of my time helping Guardianship clients. Working at G-A-D is a teamwork effort, and in my opinion, we have an amazing team.  So much of what we do is assist families in very delicate times and areas of the law such as probate and guardianship matters.  Outside of work, I am happily married to my husband of 42 years, we have big, crazy families and a mini-Schnauzer named Yogi.    I am very close to my sisters as well as all my many nieces and nephews. I feel especially blessed my parents are still with us and able to take care of each other.

My hobbies include baking, gardening, crafting but one of my favorites would be the time we spend with our grandchildren, our grand-dogs, and of course our weekly family dinners and gatherings.

I began working for the firm part time in 2001 and continue to assist part time in bookkeeping, collections, and marketing services. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida then attended the University of Florida and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1994. I went on to earn a Masters in Education in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston in 1997. While in school, my passions included working with victims of domestic violence at shelters as well as working with underserved children both in Florida and in Texas.

Following graduate school, I moved to Tampa where I began working at a local community mental health agency and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I specialized in working with adult and child victims of emotional, physical and sexual abuse and well as working within the elementary school system to provide therapy and coordinate care for children and families in need.

In my free time I love spending time with my husband and our two children, with my extended family and friends, volunteering for animal rescues, reading, exercising, traveling, going to the beach, and practicing yoga.
